This is what is going on in my garden July 2023!

Month’s To Do List:

• Weed
• Set up Owl box
• Install overhang trellis on South side of house

Harvesting:

• Bell Peppers
• Blueberries
• Cucumbers
• Eggplant
• Green beans
• Lettuce
• Peppers
• Squash – yellow crookneck
• Swiss Chard
• Tomatoes

Planted:

• Cilantro
• Pepper plants from local nursery because I had bare spots
• Okra – just added 5 seeds in garden bed to replace those that did not make it
• Squash plants from local nursery (one zucchini and one yellow crookneck because mine died)
• Tomatillo plant from local nursery because I had bare spots
• Watermelon plant from local nursery because I lost a cantaloupe (nursery did not have cantaloupe plant)

What am I doing?:

• Weeding
• Taking out the corn, since the rats have demolished it.

Musings:

• Lillies are starting to open up, like seeing them in the garden  :]
